Made it

This is going to be short. I made it to Beijing. I'm sort of half asleep though. Kind of just meandering around in the haze and all. I'll definately write more once I get some sleep... and some food... and some sleep.

It was an awesome flight though. No hitches. Neat views of Syberia and the North Pole. I took pictures too, Luke. Earth is running out of ice, we need a refill.

I got to Beijing and stood in line for customs for a loooong time. Then I walked out front, had a bunch of people yelling at me, "Are you Daniel? Are you Peter? Are you David?" Finally I got an, "Are you Drew?". That was very exciting. So then I got a big gulp of Beijing air, and rode with Ms. Wang n' co. to the apartments. Fun.

Anyway, time to go. I don't have internet yet, I'm using a internet cafe. Should have it in 3 days though. I'll try to call later on, Mom, but Ms. Wang is taking us out and all. I'll try to figure out the card when I get back.

I'm out.

Glad your there. Thanks for spotting the ice cap for me. What was it like to sit on a plane for 15 hours. The most I ever did was fly a 172 for 10 hours. That sucked. Did you feel the need to maintain a solid drunk while in route? Or is that just something I would do? Any way, Im glad your there and hope you get to read this soon. What kind of connection to the internets does it look like you will have?

You brother Luke

It is 1:45 PM here in the USA and I hope you are sleeping. It was great having you around for the month we had to share as a family. When Luke and I got home yesterday it was like "OK what do we do now" we had gotten used to you being around. I hope and know it will be a great experience for you. Make the most of it.

Hooray! I'm glad you got there safe, even if the jetlag is making you crosseyed. 15 hour plane rides are not particularly my idea of fun either >.<

Enjoy getting set up; I can't wait to hear more about your adventures!

Thanks everyone. Everything is crazy over here right now. As an update to a previous post, yes the pollution is bad here. But there are parks everywhere here and some how they actually shield somewhat from the nasty. I have a feeling I'll be spending alot of time there.

I'll be posting much more frequently when I get internets in my apartment. Mondayish.

And yes, 14 hours was shocking. No, I didn't drink, but thank God, thank GOD, I had my Nintendo DS. That was enough of a mind numb.

So just out of curiosity, do you think your internets will just be a dumptruck, or a series of tubes?

Seeing as how Beijing is somewhat developed, but not completely, I'd have to say its still just a big truck. One day though... one day.
